I feel that it is only fair to offer a few cautionary words to all potential followers (yes, if you chose to continue this journey with me, please click on the follow box located on your left in the sidebar) To be Frank or Ernest but not Wily or Machiavelli, I have a tendency to make lame puns, please chuckle lightly and continue.
1. There will be some grammatical errors in the works that follow. Yes, I have spellcheck, we have been friends for years. However, even Microsoft Word doesn't know what I'm trying to spell sometimes. I will try my best to prevent these mistakes so if you see one and want to POLITELY comment on it, then feel free and it will be greatly appreciated.
2. I am an art major. So occasionally, I will make art or art history references. I love the Italian Renaissance, French revolution, old Japanese ink artists like Sesshu, and the Dutch Masters, so if it's an art thing it probably comes from them. Recognizing that not everyone is as avid a fan of art as me, I will try to post links that will explain these. If there is something that you want more information on please don't hesitate to message me.
3. This blog is my personal recording of my trip abroad, and a well of study abroad information. However, as an amateur writer (I've always wondered how you can classify yourself as an amateur writer or not. In reality anyone with a pen, computer or typewriter could be considered an amateur writer, but anyway...) I will try very hard for my personality to show through my work. As my English professor, Dr. Price once quoted, "You got to put your stank on it". So be warned, I will go on tangents, rants, and down little bunny trails!! If this annoys, please skim down until it looks like I'm focused again.
If you have not been dissuaded from joining me on my quest, please follow and enjoy! Domo arigatou gozaimasu and Yoroshiku onegaishimasu. (thank you very much and sort of "please treat me kindly")
