Donkatsu

Udon with Rice
Today we went on our group tour. We stopped and at lunch at Sakae train station, which has a huge mall attached to it. The resturant we chose, they had delicious udon (Japanese noodles) and donkatsu (friend meat with cabbage). We also got to explore some of the shops like the Ghibli studio's store, Shonen Jump shop and the Pokemon store. I would definately recomend anyone who travels to Nagoya to visit Sakae station.

After wards we went to visit Nagoya Castle. It was dreadfully humid and hot out. But the views from the top floor were stunning and the air conditioning helped fight the heat wave.  It was a great way to taste some of Japan's history and to connect with some of my fellow travellers and the Japanese student volunteers who dedicated their time to us.
